The last three years have seen a lot of changes in Tadano’s front. The acquisition of the Demag brand has brought in a number of new faces to their chassis line. To the familiar Faun all terrain chassis, we are now seeing chassis designed during the Terex period. All now figure under Demag’s “AC” designation for all terrain machines. Tadano has always catered to crane hire companies with a different mindset to those which traditionally buy Liebherr, Grove, or even Demag. Tadano’s acquisition of Demag come with lots of high expectations. Though we would have to wait a few more years to see how Tadano’s philosophy would permeate into the former Terex brand.
